I am also a mechanic, I like to work on cars.

I am a curios person who loves to ask questions, wonder how things work, and how they can be improved. I enjoy working in a team environment where learning is encouraged. Currently, I'm working on a collection of fun fact API's built in Go. Additionally, I am preparing to become certified as an AWS cloud practitioner. When im not coding, you can find me outdoors enjoying a good hike or a cold drink!

Single page website for Backflow Friends

I'm always trying to find ways on how I can improve utilizing technology. This project in particular is for a local busines of mine. It allowed me to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It was a fun project to accomplish, it has now been viewed more than 300+ people. Incorporating a chat functionality with "tawk.to" has really given me the edge in communicating with customers.

Cloud Photo Album

I believe that a good way to learn is to create something that you are passionate about. So I decided to create a photo album where I can store my photos and share with my family. It's powered by AWS S3, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku, some JavaScript frameworks and Bulma.

Day/Night Vision Security Camera

During the summer of 2018, I decided to create a project using my Raspberry Pi. After an intensive research I found a project that caught my attention. Using MotionEyeOS, Google Drive, and a outdoor camera I was able to use my problem solving skills and transform my Raspberri Pi into a motion sensored security camera .

Fun Fact Collection

This is a work in progress Go application. Goal is to create a web application that contains a variety of facts that can be translated to different languages. Updates for this project can be followed by visiting my github, click the button below.

Self Growth

As one of my goals for this year is to collaborate more with other developers such as non-profit organizations or even if it is a fun project among friends. Additionally, to encourage learning I've proposed to write about my learning experiences and personal projects to share my success and struggles.
